Japan Town Sanrio/California Vacation Haul 2011

Day 1: Disneyland
Day 2: Hollywood, Royal/T & Venice Beach
Day 3: Traveled to Walnut Creek
Day 4: BART, Japan town, Pier 39, Bay Area Tour
Day 5: San Jose for The Winchester Mystery House
Day 6: Japan town *again*, Downtown, Fisherman's Wharf, Pier 39, Golden Gate Bridge, Downtown *again*
Day 7: Big Sur
Day 8: La Jolla Cove & then we headed back home to TX

So We're on the final day of the California Vacation Haul videos & blogs...PHEW! I thought I was never going to finish.

So we're on day 6. We went into Japan Town because my nephew had wanted to go and purchase some more stuff from Black Peace Now, but when we got there, they were closed. We decided to go across the street into a little shopping mall to kill some time and to my surprise they had a Sanrio in there. My nephew fell in love with all the anime shops and the shops where they sold swords.

I was like a kid in a candy store in Sanrio. I bought so much stuff, I walked out with 2 large bags.

I also went to LUSH in downtown San Francisco. I wish I could have spent more time in the shop, but we couldn't find a parking anywhere so my Dad dropped us off while my Mom & I ran into LUSH. I bought...

Japan Town & Pier 39 Haul/California Vacation 2011

Well I was hoping to have been done with this series already, but I have been so busy with work. 

On day 3 we left our hotel in Diamond Bar California and headed for Walnut Creek California. I slept most of the way but the view was beautiful.

Day 1: Disneyland
Day 2: Hollywood, Royal/T & Venice Beach
Day 3: Traveled to Walnut Creek
Day 4: BART, Japan town, Pier 39, Bay Area Tour
Day 5: San Jose for The Winchester Mystery House
Day 6: Japan town *again*, Downtown, Fisherman's Wharf, Pier 39, Golden Gate Bridge, Downtown *again*
Day 7: Big Sur
Day 8: La Jolla Cove & then we headed back home to TX

So day 4 we took the BART into San Francisco which I loved, I thought it was so much fun aside from the ear popping of course. Once we got into the city we took a bus to Japan town. I absolutely hate those buses! Our main reason for going to Japan town was for the store New People. Inside New People is Baby, The Stars Shine Bright & Black Peace Now. Both shops carry both Gothic & Lolita and Visual Kei clothes. I will explain in another blog post what Gothic & Lolita fashion is, as well as Visual Kei.

After we finished shopping there we took another bus to Pier 39. We had planned on doing the Alcatraz night tour but they were sold out until the end of September, for all tours! The next best thing was to do a Bay Area Tour. It was absolutely amazing, I loved the tour so much, I could have done it all day long.

After the tour was done we went to the Alcatraz gift shop in Pier 39 and bought some stuff. All I bought was a post card for my friend, a yummy chocolate candy bar and a cute little seal. After shopping, we headed back to the hotel.

 The following pictures are screen shots of a video I took while shopping in the store. There are signs all over the place saying NO PHOTOGRAPHY. The store is just so adorable, I had to have some pictures of it.

I am in love with those clothing racks. I want one so bad for my room.

I didn't get any video of Black Peace Now, mainly because they were having an amazing moving sale and the set up isn't anywhere compared to BTSB.

Don't forget I will be doing a blog about Lolita & Visual Kei fashion. I haven't forgotten about the blog where I am going to post the story of Royal/T cafe. I just haven't gotten around to doing it.
